Immuno Contraception

This has been talked about for many years and would be a way in which grey squirrel stopped breeding and naturally died out. ESI has funded research by Prof. Andy Peters of Nottingham University for some years now; however the research is not straightforward and requires collaboration from several international stakeholders. Some advances have been made on IMC in wild boar and deer in York in the US.

Sadly there is still a way to go with this research which also requires a considerable amount of consistent funding.
